Where did AJ Hall grow up?

AJ grew up in Mesa and attended Mountain View and Westwood high schools. He earned his law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2006 and came home to Arizona.

Where do Mesa crashes happen?
Mesa is Arizona’s third-largest city, with more than half a million people spread across a grid of mile arterials, three freeways and a light rail line down Main Street. Here is what the state’s own numbers say about 2024.
The freeways
US-60, the Superstition Freeway, runs the full width of the city’s south side. Loop 202 wraps the north and east as the Red Mountain Freeway and the far southeast as the Santan. Loop 101, the Price Freeway, marks the western edge, and SR 87 heads north as Country Club Drive. Freeway crashes are usually the high-speed, multi-vehicle collisions, and the report typically comes from the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The arterials
Mesa’s own transportation department reports that more than 90% of the city’s serious-injury crashes in 2024 happened on arterial streets, not freeways: Main, Broadway, Southern, Baseline, Dobson, Alma School, Country Club, Gilbert and Power. Most were angle and left-turn collisions, and the most common cited violations were failure to yield and speed.
What that means for your claim

Seek immediate medical care
Even if you feel fine. Adrenaline can mask an injury for days. Mesa has hospital emergency rooms at Banner Desert Medical Center on Dobson Road, Banner Baywood Medical Center off Baywood Avenue in east Mesa, and Mountain Vista Medical Center on Crismon Road. Get the police report
Inside Mesa, the crash report comes from the Mesa Police Department. On US-60 and the Loop 202 it usually comes from the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Ask the officer for the report number before you leave the scene. If you are able, photograph both vehicles, the intersection, the signals and your injuries, and get names and phone numbers from anyone who saw it.
